Principal Tom is responsible for the firm's services to businesses, private companies, charities and social enterprises. Tom can offer comprehensive and cost-effective advice in all areas affecting businesses, including company and business law, and property law. Tom's experience also includes advising flat-owners, owner-managed businesses and housing associations on lease extensions and the purchase of freeholds, and he is listed as a specialist solicitor in this area by the Leasehold Advisory Service. Furthermore, Tom has expertise in residential property development and large-scale property management, including all aspects of site acquisition and disposal, and the design of management schemes. A solicitor, Tom has almost ten years experience in the legal profession, having practised in Leeds for several years with one of the largest firms in the region, and previous to that, Tom was trained by a Leeds city centre commercial and property firm. Julian West, F. Inst. L. Ex.
Associate A legal executive and Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, with almost twenty years experience, Julian began his career with Fredk. Cooke and Son, one of the oldest law firms in Cheshire - est. 1864. He was then invited to join a city centre firm in Leeds in 1999, where he practised until 2008. Specialising in moving home services, wills and estates, Julian acts for a number of professional sports people, including well known international, Premiership and Championship footballers, and international and county cricketers. A keen sportsman himself, Julian has previously worked as a business development manager for one of the largest tennis centres in New South Wales.
